The Outsourced Bicycle
It is a simple tale of a boy who always wished to be a bicycle racer but he was very poor and for him it was not possible to buy a bicycle. His parents also never paid attention to his dream but he believed and desired to be a bicycle racer. One day it was announced in the school that after twenty days there is a bicycle race in school and the boy told his parents to purchase a bicycle because he wanted to do the practice on it, but his parents shouted him and refused the demand. A friend informed him that there is shop where they provide cycle on rent rs10 per hour and here he found the way to complete his dream. He daily spent 10rs from the money he saved. He practiced hard and vigorously and finally the day arrived. As the race finished he won and was awarded with a brand new bicycle and got a gold medal, his parents were also called on stage and were honored.
The story clearly defines meaning and benefits of outsourcing as the boy thought to hire the bicycle was a kind of outsourcing. He took the cycle on contract basis for sometime and used it for the purpose he desired and paid 10rs daily charges because it was not affordable for him to buy a new bicycle at that time.
